What happens during a car service?

Every vehicle is different, so what our technicians check depends on the type of service you require.

As every car (and its owner) is different, Charles Hurst Service Centres offer different types of servicing to suit your needs.

We do offer our manufacturer backed service experience but for those of us who just looking for a service we have everything you could need on offer from any of our centres in Belfast-Sydenham, Coleraine, Portadown and Omagh.

With our Value Servicing, you can choose between an Interim Service for £149 or a Major Service for £199

What gets checked?

It depends on which one you select, but as a general rule we’ll carry out a thorough check of the following parts and components.

  1. Lights
  2. Wipers
  3. All fluids levels
  4. Brake pads, shoes, pipes and lines
  5. Cambelt
  6. Suspension dampers
  7. Air filter
  8. Spark plugs
  9. Handbrake
  10. Clutch cable
  11. Fuel filter

You can also expect a complimentary service wash & vac, our courtesy bus service and you can even book a courtesy car by prior appointment.

At Charles Hurst, it’s all part of our service!
